Who these terms are between

These terms apply between you and the alobonus.net editorial desk, Postbus 118, 9000 Ghent, Belgium (contact@alobonus.net), whenever you read this website or receive the weekly roundup by email. By subscribing, or by continuing to use the site, you accept them.

What the roundup is

The roundup is an editorial publication. We describe offers, prices and consumer information that we have checked at the time of writing, and we give our opinion on them. It is not financial advice, and we are not a party to any purchase you make. The shop or service you buy from is responsible for the product, the price at the moment you pay, and the delivery.

Accuracy and expiry

We check every code and link on the morning we send, and we state the end date we have been given. Retailers can and do withdraw offers early, change conditions, or run out of allocated units. When that happens we note it in the next issue, but we cannot guarantee that anything in a past issue is still available. Always check the price and conditions on the shop's own page before you pay.

Affiliate links

Some links in the roundup are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the shop pays us a small commission. This never changes the price you pay, and it never decides whether something is included; the selection process on the home page applies to every pick regardless of commission. Affiliate links are marked as such in the issue.

Your subscription

Subscribing is free and requires only an email address. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any issue, and your address will stop receiving mail immediately. We may remove an address from the list if it bounces repeatedly or has not opened any issue in twelve months. We do not send anything other than the weekly roundup and direct replies to your messages.

Using our content

The text of the site and of each issue is written by us and belongs to us. You are welcome to forward an issue to a friend, quote a paragraph with a link back, or share a pick on social media. Please don't republish whole issues, scrape the site, or present our writing as your own. If you want to reuse something in a way not covered here, ask us at contact@alobonus.net.

Reader tips and replies

If you send us a tip or reply, you allow us to use it in a future issue, with your first name unless you ask us not to include it. We may shorten or edit for clarity. We won't publish your email address.

Our liability

We take care to get things right, but the roundup is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by Belgian law, we are not liable for any loss arising from a purchase you make on the basis of something we wrote, from an offer that has changed or expired, or from the content of a third-party website we link to. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If a change matters to readers, we will mention it in the housekeeping section of the next issue and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to receive the roundup after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute that cannot be settled by talking to us first will be heard by the courts of Ghent, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that give you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
